By deploying a controlled burst of fire-suppressing aerosol, our tablets can rapidly extinguish fires, minimizing damage and risk.
In addition to the FirePro Liion Tablets, our larger Energy Storage Systems are equipped with FirePro Box-Type extinguishers. The synergy achieved between the Box-Type generator and its accompanying monitoring, control, and detection equipment offers a robust and reliable solution for fire protection. Our Box-Type generator is designed to swiftly detect potential issues and deploy fire-suppressing agents, effectively extinguishing fires before they escalate.

Thermal Management
At Mint Energy, safety is our utmost priority. To ensure robust fire protection, we have implemented a redundant system that offers unparalleled safety standards. Our approach combines state-of-the-art fire detection technology with redundant suppression systems, guaranteeing swift and effective response in the event of any fire incident. By employing redundant systems, we not only enhance the reliability of our fire protection measures but also provide an added layer of assurance to safeguard our system.
Every 5MWh Energy Storage System has 14,000+ Fire Pro units, each one capable of putting out a fire, plus two FP-1200 Units to cover the entire container. Each Cell Pack (14,000+ packs per container) is water-cooled for High C performance.
Mint Energy’s Graphene Batteries can experience three types of thermal runaway:
1) Cells reach over 90°C
100% coverage for 14,000+ Cell Packs
2) Cells get charged over 5V
BMS in each Cell Pack prevents issues
One 25mm x 3mm system on top of each BMS in each Cell Pack provides 100% coverage for 14,000+ Cell Packs
3) Cell impact with bullet (or similar) in the upper left positive side (10mm x 25mm/250mm2 or 2% of the surface area)

In the unlikely event that all 14,000 units fail, there are two more units, each capable of handling the entire container.
